The HOLON
Mover at the
   IAA Mobility

The renowned Munich mobility fair opened its doors. Also on show in September: our HOLON mover, and a cooperation with Deutsche Bahn.

"IAA is a good example of how the automotive industry has reinvented itself again and again; how mobility is rethought. And that’s exactly our mission at HOLON: redesigning mobility." With these words, HOLON CEO Henning von Watzdorf explained at a press event at the beginning of the fair why our HOLON mover is an ideal fit for IAA Mobility.

Following successful events at CES in Las Vegas at the beginning of the year as well as the European premiere in Hamburg, our mover is on show in Munich. And there, too, as the first few days have shown, it’s a real eye-catcher with visitors.

The mover is being displayed on the Cognizant Mobility booth. The HOLON partner is presenting VERA, its Very Enhanced Road Assistant system, for the first time at IAA. To do so, the company is using our autonomous mover as an example. The AI-based system is designed to provide passengers with trip information and interact with them personally and individually. "I’m convinced that tools like this can play a significant role in reducing any reservations about autonomous vehicles and getting even more people excited about this technology," explained Henning.

At the event, HOLON also announced that the company will cooperate with Deutsche Bahn in the future as part of a research and development project. The goal is to connect rural areas better and more flexibly to the respective train stations and transit hubs.
